Just saw a billboard for Alpha News.org in my neighborhood

I live in the Kingfield Neighborhood in south Minneapolis. I checked them out and they are a reichwing site. Anyone else seeing their billboards?

1. Haven't noticed it, where is it?

I live in Kingfield also. Is it one of the billboards on the corner of Nicollet and 46th? I looked up Alpha News - pretty sketchy outfit. I found this:

[Staff] Liz Collin is a reporter for Alpha News and has won multiple Emmy Awards. She was also a former anchor and reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis. Her marriage to former Minneapolis police union president Bob Kroll prompted the station to remove her from police related stories to avoid a perceived conflict of interest. 3 3 Collins has been a public speaker and media producer. She is the author of, “They’re Lying: The Media, The Left, and The Death of George Floyd.” She produced the documentary, “The Fall of Minneapolis” which was available to audiences in November 2023.

And:

Alpha News previously reported on the divorce file of Ellison, going to court to unseal the records—arguing it was a matter of public interest during the 2018 campaign for attorney general.

2. It's above the buildings on the southwest corner of 43 and Nicollet

It's on top of the buildings across from Sebastian Joe's. You'll see it if your travelling north on Nicollet just before you pass the Lowbrau restaurant

3. I go by there all the time, sometimes on foot.

I guess billboards don't register much with me! The Lowbrow has great hamburgers, by the way.

8. It's a pretty unremarkable billboard in of itself

It just has some blonde anchor-type lady and the words "AlphaNews.org" It just struck me as suspiciously right-wing. And turns out I was right!

4. I'm surprised it hasn't been hit with graffiti

If I were the tagging type, that would be a prime target. Change it to 'beta news' and then take pics and tag alpha news on socical media. Sure, its childish, but it would have the desired effect.

6. It's fairly recent, so give it time. :)

And probably not a lot of people even know what Alpha News.org is. I had to look it up, because I was suspicious.

7. Those billboards are pretty high up. You'd need a good pitching arm,

and poo doesn't hold together very well.

Out for a walk, and there it was. Sure looks like a Fox Newsblond.

12. Is that a really touched up Liz Collin on the billboard?

(aka Mrs. Bob Kroll).

I know she works there, I suppose it's the only job she could get after she left WCCO.

13. I think so. I don't remember her well from WCCO,

but whoever that is has the hair extensions and cleavage look required of right-wing female broadcasters.
