Numbers of seniors in Michigan

Was looking for some info on state population growth and came across a site that stated that close to a quarter of the state's population is age 60 or older. A link at the site showed that 43% of the population in my home county is aged 60 or older.

Now covid, long term covid and environment lead the way to name a few
