Half of Upper Michigan's population has received at least one does of COVID19 vaccination.

"Nearly half (49.5%) of Upper Michigan residents 16+ have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine."

55.5% of the population, age 16 and older, of my home county here is now fully vaccinated.

I do know that many in my county will be getting their second shot this week, including my wife, so we might just hit the 70% goal, set by Gov. Whitmer, very soon. At least for my county.

HOPEFULLY it will go above 50%. There are some deep red districts that will, no doubt, remain largely unvaccinated.

A lot of people at the county vaccination site when I brought my wife there for her 2nd shot. When she came out, she said there was quite a few younger people this time.
