Cloudy skies tonight

So I fired up the Sky Safari app and picked a clear horizon location. This may be our best shot at seeing the Grand Conjunction.
Note the time on the upper right 5:30pm, today, since I picked pretty clear horizon you may be limited by the clutter on yours

Jupiter is nice and bright (when it's clear outside). Saturn is less bright. Add the two together in a conjunction, and I'm guessing the total is still not as bright as Venus.

If I were a wise man, I don't think it would inspire me to buy some myrrh, get on a cantankerous camel, and travel for weeks to see some kid that was born in a barn.

Or, maybe I'm just jealous of those whose evening sky will be clear.
