Lions fans buy 'Decker Reported' billboards in Detroit

I love this fan base. Seriously, I don't think you'll find a more dedicated and loyal fan base than the fans base of the Detroit Lions. After Saturday night's debacle in which the Lions lost 20-19 to the Cowboys after official Brad Allen made a simple human error that the NFL is hellbent on not admitting to, Lions fans put up these billboards in the Detroit area.

Biggest controversial in the NFL quite possibly ever. This call could change things about how officials call the game. But probably not.

I'm a big college fan, so I don't follow the NFL closely, but generally, the lousy NCAA officiating calls in the college football regular season get a bit tighter and better in the bowl games and NFP.

(11,657 posts)Officials get rated on their performance, higher rated officiating crews get the bigger games. Highest rated get into the playoffs. Allens group was downgraded as they call it. Close as you can get to an admission of guilt
at least in many fans eyes.

(11,657 posts)Matthew Stafford knows more than most about what its like to be on the receiving end of a questionable call by refs during a Lions-Cowboys game.
You probably remember the Lions-Cowboys playoff game in 2015, where refs picked up a crucial pass interference penalty vs. Dallas. Ugh.
Stafford, now the QB for LA Rams, has his own thoughts about the Lions recent game vs. Dallas.
His wife, Kelly, on her podcast The Morning After with Kelly Stafford and Hank, said Matthew, like millions of others watching the game as the clock wound down, said:
Holy s*it. It happened again.
Kelly herself had her own thoughts saying, Can I tell you the biggest scam of 2023? That Lions game. They (bleeped) yall.
She added: It doesnt matter if the game is in Dallas. Theres always rules made up when something happens with the Lions. Whether this is an NFL script or not where they want the Rams to play the Lions and theyre working to make that happen. I know people laugh at the idea of a script, but Im kinda a believer in the script.

(22,190 posts)that this particular group of officials have made horrible, game changing calls. The fact that they are scheduled to call a post season game is PROOF that the NFL doesn't give a damn about integrity.
