Meet the two candidates running for Urbandale City Council in Iowa's 2025 election

wo candidates are seeking to keep their seats on the Urbandale City Council in the Nov. 4 election.

Incumbents Joe Cacciatore and Amy Croll face no opposition in their quest to continue serving on the five-member City Council, all of whose members are elected at large. Cacciatore was appointed to the council in January 2025 to fill the seat of Larry McBurney, who left the council after winning election to the Iowa House. Croll was first elected in 2022.

Voters will select two candidates for the seats.

The Des Moines Register asked each candidate to respond to questions on why they're running and the issues facing their city. Their answers may be lightly edited for clarity or length.
