Iowa absentee ballot request form causes issues
An issue with the size of an absentee ballot request form in Iowa caused some voters to get more than one in the mail.
Our Quad Cities News obtained an example of what a voter got sent in the mail. The top of it explains that a previous absentee form was sent, but due to new postal regulations, the Iowa Democratic Party had to send out a new form to voters. Some Iowa county auditors report the ballot in question was too small, so it wasn’t able to be processed correctly.
Voters can visit the Iowa Secretary of State’s website and print an absentee request out and mail it in or bring it to your county auditor. For more information, click here.
