Butler University's Blue II getting ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge...

He has weeks, maybe a few months, tops. His caretaker says he will not stand to see Blue in any kind of pain, so the end may come sooner than that.
I met Blue quite by accident last year at the Indiana State Fair -- he was getting ready to be the grand marshal at that evening's parade. We were leaving just as the parade was lining up. What a good natured pup. He never failed to bring a smile to my face...
