Schrecengost seeks re-election to Armstrong board in Region III
Brenda Schrecengost, who has been involved in public education in Armstrong County for the last 50 years, said she hopes to continue working to provide quality public education opportunities to Armstrong School District students for the next four years.
Throughout my long teaching career, and my four years on the school board, the residents of this community know my commitment to our children and the future of this school district, Schrecengost said. I am humbly asking my friends and neighbors to once again place their trust in me and re-elect me to the Armstrong School District board of school directors to continue serving the residents of Region III.
Schrecengost, a retired teacher from Dayton with a 45-year tenure, has served on the ASD board representing Region III since 2021. She is a life-long Republican, who has cross-filed, and will appear on both the Republican and Democratic ballots at the May 20 primary election.
As a third-generation teacher, I have seen first-hand the changes in education at the national, state and local level, Schrecengost said. I look forward to continuing to serve the school district and community in which I have been so heavily invested my entire professional life.
