Illinois early voting begins next week. Here's where to go to cast your ballot

The 2024 general election feels like it's still way off in the distance, but early voting in Illinois will in fact get underway next week across the state.

In fact, early voting sites will open in nearly every county in the Chicago area, with the exception of Cook County and the city of Chicago, where things will get going in early October.
