So glad to be from IL I was listening to WGN radio

it's politically moderate. The radio personalities all seem to hate trump . But, they are not liberal. They often interview republicans.

Lisa Dent from WGN was interviewing state representative Margaret Croke discussed a bill about splitting the cost of pregnancy between both parents.

Lisa asked Ms Croke why the bill is worded "the pregnant party" instead of "the woman who is pregnant". Representative Croke stated something like "because we don't know how the pregnant person refers to themselves''. Lisa Dent totally got it and said '' I appreciate that''.

It was just a really nice interaction.

Here is the segment from WGN

I'm proud and grateful to be from this state, too. More so than ever since Pritzker's been governor!

I grew up in IL listening to WGN. Miss them. They had a few wayward years but still listened in.

aka "Pig Vomit" from Howard Stern's Private Parts book/movie. He had really wanted the programming job at conservative talk WLS but failing that tried to turn WGN into something similar. New management came in to clean up his mess but it never quite recovered.

pig vomit took over and I have never gone back. Pig vomit died young.

I think they lost their spark after they quit broadcasting the Cubs' games anyway.
