So, Illinois could manage to vote on the pension mess and concealed carry today.

But they couldn't manage to hold it together enough to vote on equal marriage. I watched the House via online feed off and on all day. I have rarely seen such a bunch of idjits collected in one space at one time. I wonder sometimes WHY, exactly, I stay in this state.

. . . you could live in Oklahoma, home of the Senators that held up Hurricane Sandy relief by claiming it had pork for the Virgin Islands in it (Sandy hit VI too), while hands out for disaster relief for Moore's tornado. (Oklahoma is one of the top recipients of disaster aid every year.)

I couldn't stomach Oklahoma and its religio-conservative political complex, so I left.
