That coddlin' town . . .

Daley, Burke, and Rahm have been too generous to Trump and his tower, and taxpayers are paying the price.

Gee, I wonder why no businesses want to rent space in Trump Tower. Hint: see above.

It’s been roughly three years since my great revelation about how to force Donald Trump to remove that god-awful sign he slapped on his tower.

And guess what? That awful sign is still there.

Proving again that Trump has more clout with Chicago Democrats than I do—January 6 insurrection and all.

Trump’s sign has been on my mind thanks to the great reporting in the Sun-Times by Tim Novak, who’s been unrelenting on this story. And relentless is what you have to be when you’re up against big-time players like Trump and Alderman Ed Burke.

i do think a bit more context might be good.
the property tax system works that way for alllll rich people.

and what kind of place allows an alderman to have a side gig screwing the ordinary tax payers?

i love this town, but....

ps- the prizker toilet thing is blown out of proportion. he didnt just take out the toilets. he gutted the apt. no toilets is just the main item to prove a place is uninhabitable.
