Mini Rally In Our Town Today

Parking lot of an ice cream shop 2 blocks from my house.
Around 20, mostly young, people holding signs on what is our busiest street.
Very positive.
While I was there, about 1 in 3 cars honked & waved or gave a thumbs up.
They were there something over 3 hours.
I like that some local youngs are taking an interest in social affairs. This is a 99% white town. So the youth may be providing a cause for future optimism.

I don't know if this town is getting more conservative or if the existing conservatives are just getting louder and more reactionary.
