Jerome County to Reissue Ballots
JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Jerome County has become aware that the first batch of absentee ballots for the general election contained a printing error. The short ballot title was missing on Proposition 1 and affected ballots were missing the following:
Measure to:
1) Replace voter selection of party nominees with a top-four primary;
2) Require a ranked-choice voting system for general elections.
Ballots were mailed starting September 20 and there have been a total of 484 absentee ballots mailed with the incomplete language.
