is there now a Hawaiian-language pop-music culture? And if so, could you please tell me who would be a good artist to whom to listen?

I'm aware of older styles like slack-key guitar and also ukulele music as well as older songs like Aloha 'Oe, but left Oahu in 1973. So, I am way, way, way out of touch.

On the other hand, for Māori, there's this:

Maybe, there are similarly cool artists who sing pop in Hawaiian.

Perhaps, I'm just search-term challenged. LOL

Either way,
mahalo nui loa, or tēnā rawa atu koe.

Good luck with your search.
