waikiki tourists - we don't need no stinking masks...

just got back from a walk thru the tourist hotel zone in waikiki and the big increase in tourists coming really shows in the crowd size. and u can spot the tourists, they are the ones not wearing any masks for the most part. one wonders how they do for compliance in shops and stores and other areas off the beaches.

at least we can take comfort that waikiki is not like a miami beach drunken brothel scene

Maybe itʻs just in Hilo, but the tourists I see are generally wearing masks. Shops, businesses, and the Farmerʻs Market all require masks. Restaurants allow mask removal if you are sitting down.
