Duval supervisor of elections urges voters to double check ballots after some say they had trouble casting votes

Despite the problems, 100,000 people have voted early in person and 30,000 mail-in votes have been received.

Those machines now have a stylus to make voting easier.

A voter named Tony Hill in the Soutel neighborhood described the issue he had while voting early.

“I had a problem when I touched the screen and when it came out, it wasn‘t for the people I voted for,” Hill said. “So we’re asking people to check your ballot when you come out of the voting booth to make sure that the person that you voted for is the person that should be on your ballot.”

On the plus side, there is a paper trail. On the scary as hell side, the system apparently makes it easy to make an error.

Arrrggghhh.

Without him even touching anything, it highlighted Trump. He selected Harris and thought thst was good. When he went to review his choices, he saw Trump so was able to go back, change to Harris, review and ensure it stayed Harris this time and then approved and printed his ballot.

So yeah, fuckery! But it's easily fixed fuckery if one pays attention. Eyes Open Wide.
