Florida Rep. Carolina Amesty indicted on forgery charges

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Florida Rep. Carolina Amesty is behind bars in Orange County, facing multiple forgery charges.

According to jail records, Amesty, R-Windermere, is charged with forgery, uttering forgery, false certificate by a notary public, and notarizing signature.

These charges stem from evidence that she knowingly notarized a document with a forged signature in 2021 while serving as an administrator at Central Christian Academy, a nonprofit school run by her family.

All four charges are classified as third-degree felonies under Florida Statute section 117.05.

I thought the same thing. Being that it’s Florida and her family runs this school, I hope DeSatan doesn’t pardon her if she gets convicted.
