1. We lived in the DC area for 8 years...

...while my husband was stationed at Andrews AFB. I loved living in such an interesting place, but the summers are absolutely brutal - 95 degrees and 95% humidity all summer long. Oppressive to the max.

2. I've lived in the area since 1978, first in DC (near the Mall, the Hill. the White House,)

and lately in MD suburbs and exurbs.

Living along a river now, and I don't complain; 87 degrees here now.
