Ballots now available for June 30 primary election in Mesa County
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -Ballots for the June 30 primary election are now available by request from the Mesa County Clerk.
All registered voters can get a ballot regardless of party affiliation, but voters only need to fill out one.
“You get to choose which one you want to vote for. So very important with unaffiliated is you will get a Republican ballot and a Democrat ballot. You need to only choose one and vote one in order for it to count,” said Bobbie Gross, Mesa County clerk and recorder. “This year we also have two minor party ballots that will be going out to those individuals that are registered with a Libertarian or a Unity Party. Those will also be going out in the mail soon, too.”
Residents who want to change their party affiliation have until June 8 to do so.
