Proposed SF tower would be the tallest building on the West Coast

site: Former PG&E headquarters.

Just a proposal for now. But way too big for San Francisco. And it would be built on landfill. In earthquake county.

Since COVID there's been a glut of empty office space in The City.

According to the SF Chronicle the developer already paid PG&E $800 million for the property.

I wonder if these developers release outlandish proposals like this just for media exposure?
