That allows people to switch their plan. Runs until the end of this month.

and change plans if the one you chose doesn't fit right. They figure 3 months is long enough for you to make a wise, considered decision at elderly ages. grrrrr

I've been inundated with MA "offers" and what I consider to be scams since the first of the year. The ones offering free checks for food, etc., are really getting to me because I can't convince my hubby the one way that's possible if for the MA plan to not cover any medical condition beyond needing bandaids... and I'm getting tired of having to shoot his "I want to's" about these scams.

In fact, I'm just really tired of us elderly being the prime targets for scammers these days. It gets exhausting trying to figure out legit vs illegit offers... especially over the phone!

They run them all year for new enrollees hitting 65. Luckily they are somewhat fewer in number.
