Thanks for the recommendation.
We used to watch the CBC on channel 9 out of Windsor when I was a kid.
One of my favorite shows was This is the Law ⚖️
They had a panelist that was really funny with a dry sense of humor .. Hart Pomerantz ..
I just recently learned that Hart Pomerantz was part of a Comedy team:
Hart & Lorne

Lorne was Lorne Michaels who went on to create a little show I like to call..
Saturday Night Live

as they should be. I used to love SCTV back almost a half century ago.

I remember this 'Leave it to Beaver' skit just killed me when I first saw it..
SCTV was always my favorite over SNL. Although I since came to realize that, as with the Lorne Michaels backstory above, they came from the same comedy tree 🧬
Martin Short to the best of my recollection is the only one in the cast of both Saturday Night Live and SCTV 🇨🇦

rings truer to small town life than they could have imagined.
I think that Martin Short was the only one in both. And now he is in "Only Murders in the Building" which is great.
