Jimmy Fallon Is Ruining A Perfectly Good Game Show - Password.....

I know that he brought the show back to TV. I even will give it to him that he appeared as a celebrity on the premier show.

But now - he's been on every Password show since. His over the top jumping around; yelling when he wins; and mugging for the camera every chance he gets - has gotten to be too much.

As such - he's ruining the show. He's not funny. He's getting pathetic. It's like he's got to be the focus of the show. But the game itself should be the focus.

I like the show - but he should give it up as a guest celebrity and every show they should have two different celebrities give and take the passwords.

They should take the lead from the show $100,000 Pyramid.

Jimmy Fallon has got to go.

Without him, it would be a snooze fest. I’ve seen every show and he makes it fun. I got a kick out of the very first password, he gave the answer. He’s hilarious.

2. I totally agree, and on IMDB all the post were about how over the top it is

to the point of ruining the show. Everyone takes their lead from Fallon.

4. The original Password, from the 60s, was a thinking person's game ...

and what a great game it was. Still is, in concept.

Password was dumbed-down a bit for the 80's reboot (reruns can be seen on Prime), then totally lost the magic when Alan Ludden died. Sounds like it's been dumbed-down to the max for 2022 like everything else: most film, sports, politics, news. etc.

Just what is the appeal with Fallon? Kimmel and Colbert smoke him every night. He makes the Tonight Show is unwatchable.

I watched the first two shows. It's terrible.
