Does anyone know of a company that services lenses?

When I shoot events I carry two cameras, usually a Nikon D810 with a 28-70 1:2.8 lens and the other a Nikon D500 with an 80-200 1:2.8 lens.

On Saturday I broke out the cameras to set them up to shoot an Ironman race for the paper. The 28-70's focus was so stiff I would have had to focus the whole job by hand - not an easy task when you're dealing with people riding bicycles past you fast. I put the 80-200 on the D810 and went into the field, where I got some really awesome shots.

I really need the short lens and I need to get it fixed, Is there anywhere you've used that's good? No one in my area can do it and I can't send it to the place the paper sends its own gear to - they shoot Canon and send it to Canon USA for service. I looked on Nikon's service website and this lens isn't listed as one of the ones they work on.

Repaired a 28-70mm f2.8!

Was lucky enough to snag this 28-70 f2.8 for $60 in fantastic condition apart from an autofocus problem. (It even came with the original box and papers!) It turned out that the AF motor was totally fine and there was just a piece coming loose inside the lens blocking the focus assembly from going past 7-8ft. I followed a guide on Youtube and was able to get the lens apart and back together. Now I have a rather nice lens in near perfect condition! If anyone comes across this lens with a similar problem, I would recommend trying to fix it yourself if the price is right.

I got it 2 years ago used from bay, and used almost daily since then. Last few months it got an issue with focusing, having focusing stuck at ~3m level. Even in manual, if I turn the focus ring it got stuck same place, producing scratching/squealing sounds. If try 5-10 times, it get past sticking point and I can set lens to infinity. But then going back - same issue. It was sorta okay before and was rather lazy to open it up, suspecting issue with SWM motor, which are expensive to replace (300$ for module, usually more). But yesterday I was trying to shoot starscape at night and it was really stuck, got me angry. That means unavoidable teardown, which is commited today.

Can anyone recommend someone who can repair this lens? The autofocus gets stuck, which I understand is a common problem with this lens. Precision referred this to Nikon; neither can repair it. I've read that parts availability is a problem
