My fire season is finally over, and I am headed home. But I had to stop in one of my favorite places for a couple of nights.

Very few tourists, which is generally true for most NP’s if you just get out and do some treks.

I'm really struggling right now with-- everything. Sometimes, the only antidote for the ugly social world that humans have constructed is a reminder of the beautiful physical world that still exits.

Beauty in nature is so healing. So is outer space. There is nothing better to put the pettiness of the human world in perspective than immersing oneself in knowledge or images of Universe.

9. My dad, RIP, didn't travel much at all during his life but the badlands were his favorite place. One day I hope to go.
