A blooming good day!

I took the camera for a stroll around the neighborhood on this first day of Spring 2025.

She was one of many dogs I met on my walk. All were friendly; likewise their human companions.

I liked it and hated it all at the same time. It’s a place with a lot of very entrepreneurial type people. But, it’s also very insular. Less in the city. An incredible theatre and arts community. I had a weird relationship with Lancaster.

When I walk around town I might meet people from anywhere on the planet--the city's known as America's refugee resettlement capital! We were designated a "Welcoming City" in 2019. The surrounding county is mostly rural, white and Republican; the city is cosmopolitan by comparison.

I loved looking at them especially since today where I live was cold, gray, and gloomy. Thank you so much for the spring cheer!

Thank you!

We're few weeks behind here, still having snow squalls passing through. Some leave an inch or two. Some pass through with the sun still shining.

I was up around 7,000 for about 15 years before I moved here. I'm in between the high country and the valley floor so I can see into the clouds as often as not.

Your photos are so damned good: sharp, clear, great colors and so on. Somehow you seem able to isolate them for incredibly effective photos!

I guess I just have to keep trying!

Thanks for the generous compliment. I think we've both improved our skills over the past year or so.
