I went to close the drapes against the sun

and noticed this guy on the screen! Another green anole, one of my favorite garden critters.

1. I love anoles.

I think of you every time I see one. I love how they surprise me in different places all the time.

One of these days--maybe this winter--I'll put up a post of all the shots I've taken of anoles in different places around the house.

8. Sounds great! We're still getting baby ones. I've told them to hurry and grow because cold weather is coming.

I don't think they are listening to me.

Neither are the geckos.

Still have 4 hummingbirds that I shoo every morning. They aren't listening either. Going to have to weatherproof the feeders if they stay much longer.

When I see an anole, I think of seeing the world from their view - how so incredibly big everything is. Makes me happy.

10. Oh my! My cats get to love them from afar.

12. I always know when the geckos are crawling on the front windows. I hear the sound of paws swatting the windows.

3. We get those tiny frogs

that can climb glass with little suction feet. They get up on the glass storm door when the inside door is open at night and feast on the insects that are attracted to the light.

4. I have one of those that lives in the storm door handle on the outside of the back porch.

And every time I grab it to open the door I get a swishy kiss. I've made a friend. ❤️

7. They come up at night on the glass

Of my kitchen door to my patio. I had one the other night.
