Out for a spring walk!

Equipment needed. Camera, plastic bag (protect camera), finger gloves, warm hat.

It seems that robins don't mind the snow!

The walk was a bit challenging, at times, walking in knee deep snow.

The robin perched on the snow pile is my favorite, but I enjoyed them all. Living in Ohio, I’ve seen a few “springs” like this.

There were a bunch of robins in the back yard "pecking" in the snow. I've never seen anything like it. I wanted to take a photo, but I'm sure they would have looked like a bunch of dark blobs.

The silence is a big part of it, also the feeling of being the only person there; it's like an abandoned world.
But most of all, it's the stark beauty of it all.
Magical!

from a stroll; the temperature is in the low 30s, but it is a bit uncomfortable due to wind gusts up to 20 mph. If the wind quiets down it will be lovely. Love your photos, thanks for sharing. That poor little Robin!

you look at the world differently. I think it keeps us more in the moment.
