I rescued a Hammond R-124 from the trash

It needs a lot of work. I had to pull the tonewheel module and Leslie bin in an attempt to get it light enough so it could be carried down the stairs. It's still so heavy I'm considering pulling the keyboards as well, which may mean pulling ALL the electronics, leaving the bare cabinet plus those few modules that actually have connectors vs soldered on.

Anybody know where I could get a .pdf of the service manual? Google is not my friend.

The R-124 is from the R-100 series and uses the same manual. The rest of the digits are case style. TrogL Jun 2013 #3

That's paper. Many people have scanned the manuals for the more well-known models.

Try the organ forum:

Someone there will probably know where to score a manual.

I've got a Porta-B, an S-6 and a Solovox.
Can never have too many Hammonds!

I had a Porta-B, M100 and a B-3. Had to sell them when I got sick. Still have my synths, one of them does a real good B-3. Not the same, but close.
