But, your stated opinion won't be popular here.
For instance, there's me. I like all three of those bands, but they're not even in my Top 10.

Yes is in my top 10, as is King Crimson, especially the Belew era.
All 10 of mine are not, however prog. And, technically all 10 are not "bands". I've got a couple solo artists in there.
My perspective is that of a musician (semi-pro).
This might help you understand my ear. These songs are me, playing & singing everything.

for sure. Pink Floyd is probably my favorite band. It’s like picking a favorite child, though: near impossible and it changes from time to time.

Lots of Floyd fans here on DU.


And for the record, The Clash was the only band that mattered.
