The [sic] Foo Fighters have cancelled an appearance this weekend at a Connecticut music festival after Dave Grohl's recent cheating scandal. Two Nashville acts are stepping in to save the day. ... Jack White and Greta Van Fleet will be stepping onto the lineup at the Soundside Music Festival on Sunday, Sept. 29 this weekend at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Conn.
The music festival posted the news on their social media on Thursday afternoon, saying, "We are excited to welcome both Jack White and Greta Van Fleet to the lineup this Sunday, 9/29. Unfortunately, Foo Fighters have announced they're no longer performing this weekend."

The band's cancellation comes after a major shock to Foo Fighters fans a couple weeks ago.
On Sept. 10, the band's frontman, Dave Grohl, announced he would be welcoming a new baby daughter outside of his marriage. The former Nirvana drummer has been with his wife Jordyn Blum for 21 years and shares three daughters with the former model, director and actress.
