"Fight The Power" The Isley brothers 1975
The Original "Fight The Power" by The Isley Brothers. I know Public Enemy had their own song by the same title, but they actually said this inspired them to write their own song with the same title down the road. Look it up.
Anyway "I play my music, they say my music's too loud, I try talking about it I get the big run-around. And when I roll with the punches, I get knocked to the ground. By all this Bullshit going down" Yep.
Funniest comment on Youtube was something like "Hey kids, play this at your next family get-together, wedding, party whatever and get your smart phones out to record all the old people get up and freak out on the dance floor" .... too funny, but true. 🤣GO BLUE 2024! ✌️🌊
