We’re headed back to the Gulf Coast after taking shelter from the storm in Sebring. The traffic is sparse, and the rural landscape is comforting. It will be interesting to find out what awaits.

I’m not concerned about us. Our 3rd floor apartment is fine except for no internet. Apparently there wasn’t even a power outage, so we won’t need to throw out perishables in the freezer or refrigerator. The storm surge did flood the 1st floor, and we’ve heard there’s lots of damage to the surrounding area, which was beautiful when we left last Wednesday. Lots of people will need lots of help. We were lucky.

My wife has a best of S&G CD she listens to a lot.
So, I hear this song 4 or times a week!
There are a lot of good tunes on that disc.

Mike Nichols actually approached Paul Simon about using a number of songs in the Simon & Garfunkle library, and enlisted the duo's help to fill out the soundtrack with some new material. One of the new songs eventually became the Top 40 hit Mrs. Robinson.
