We were invited to a presentation at their guitar shop and were treated to quite a show. He has made guitars for years, first in California, then ??? , then Oklahoma, and now in Raton NM. He and his wife demonstrated everything from hand-winding coils to fretting to carving the bodies.
Great stories, great presentation.



He played a bit (Wipeout) and they were both wonderful. We then went for a beer at Colfax Ale Cellar.

I just looked them up. Stuff is high end.
But, the reviews are very favorable.
The fit & finish are reported to be exceptional.
But again, $$$$$.
The lowest cost guitar I found was $2,500. Most pricey was $6,900.
A niche market, for sure.
It's cool you got to visit the place.
I knew an acoustic luthier, (since moved away) but he was working out a garage & was doing strictly custom orders. He was still working as a mechanical engineer at a power plant at the time. His volume was far too low to live off of that.
