Anthony Gomes... "White Trash Princess"

I remember seeing Gomes, maybe 15 years ago when we were both younger men in a small basement club in Youngstown. Then his quartet dressed in leather biker jackets and cowboy hats. They called themselves the New Soul Cowboys

I catch him every time he gets near me because it's always a high voltage show. He played Cleveland last week, but I couldn't find anyone willing to spend an hour in the car with me. Anthony hails from Toronto, but he doesn't hang his hat there often, as he tours the globe almost nonstop.

And they say rock is dead. They say kids today don't know good music. They don't know Anthony Gomes.
