I'm a sucker for Latin rhythm so, that's part of it.
But, I never cared much for Craig's playing in Starship.
But, his acoustic work here is interesting & the electric lead is wonderfully smooth. He explores some harmonic territory he didn't cover in Starship. Playing in the major scale of the minor 3rd of the chord is very non-pentatonic. (It also gets the harmonic minor in there.) John Petrucci does that a lot, too.
I enjoyed hearing this side of him.

I get lost on youtube music everyday and learn a great deal about different artists and music style.
