Related: About this forumNew, lengthy interview with Peter Frampton from the Daily Beast
I've already posted some of what he said about politics in GD
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219432063
but the interview is almost entirely about music and about his health struggles (for background, here's a message I posted as a reply here in September 2022 -https://www.democraticunderground.com/103482926#post3 - with links to info on the disease he's fighting and video of a 2019 CBS Saturday Morning story about his battle).
I hope you'll read all of this new interview.

Well, we all sit now. I would be standing if I could, but I cant. I have to sit, so the band sits. So, theres that. And I find that theres an even closer connection with the audience, because were sitting.
As far as playing, I made the decision in 2019 that I didnt want to play anymore if I couldnt be at the top of my game. But, as my muscles have changed, Ive adapted. Im maybe playing a few less notes, but every note has so much more meaning now. But I think that even if I have to play with a slide, Ill keep playing. But right now, my fingers are doing what I ask them to do. And to be honest, I'm enjoying the challenge.
