An integral part of their sound, and not highlighted anywhere near enough for me. The Band was a train wreck in other areas, but never Garth.

On a hugely different tangent, if anyone has seen that bit of Wahlberg action fluff called Shooter, you saw Levon Helm, FAR removed from his time with them. He looked like Nosferato in that old horror movie. It was a bit sad for me, but inevitable, unless dying sooner is somehow better.
