(27,257 posts)Used to dance to it our family room all the time with my best friend! Got the CD in my collection now and when I go on road trips I bring it to enjoy!
I saw them in the 80s and their live performance was not so great unfortunately!

(71,950 posts)... Wild Cherry and Earth Wind and Fire opened. GREAT concert, didn't realize how much funk EW&F could put out live.
They were the backup band for Bonny Raitt on a tour, someone asked how were they and she said jokingly, they were just your average white band.

(71,950 posts)... from Daryl Hall that is just freaking good and it surprises me every time. This is a great cover. Just think how it would be if they had a chance to play another 10 or 15 times on stage to tighten it down.
Just a great cover with a tight crew.
Daryl Hall has become a musician's musician.

(76,745 posts)...bought & ruined Palladia, they regularly ran Live From Daryl's House. My wife & I watched them all the time.
Others that are excellent are with Billy Gibbons, with Sammy Hagar, with Cheap Trick (though Surrender is a train wreck), with Smoky Robinson, & with Joe Walsh.
IIRC, there were 60 something episodes. Started as an internet show, then went to TV, then back to internet.
