to pick up some items I didn't think would be in high demand, but the empty shelves and sad employee faces was just too much.

I am really sorry about Joann's-- there really isn't an equivalent alternative. I thought they would try to minimize stores and go for reorganization, but after Trump won, I guess they (and many other chain businesses) saw the writing on the wall.

the last time I was at my Joanns, the discount was 20% off, which is not that great of a deal. (I'm really going to miss Joanns)
