The Hill is one of the most psychologically disturbing prison movies I've seen. A year after viewing it I still get chills. Director Sidney Lumet (Dog Day Afternoon) did a masterful job.

Do the Right Thing is, what I consider, Spike Lee's masterpiece. In addition to the plot line and performances, it's a beautifully crafted film. I hope TCM airs the restored version that was recently on Netflix. The photography is awesome.
