New to this whole schtick, reccomend me some flicks to watch

I'm 18 years old, and I have chosen socialism. That's all ya need to know about me for this post, reccomend me some movies to watch!

Not exactly socialist (which, at the time, would have probably been deemed communist).

But, they are highly enjoyable and feature some of the biggest stars of the era.

Some of my favorites: It Happened One Night (1934), Modern Times (1936), My Man Godfrey (1936), Holiday (1938), You Can't Take it with You (1938), Mr Smith Goes to Washington (1939), and The Grapes of Wrath (1940).
