Related: About this forumSome of my old artwork
We've been cleaning out the garage lately, and I've been finding some of my old sketchbooks. Thought I'd share a few.

This was my gray mare, Belle. In the 30 years I had her, she taught me a lot of what to do, and what to definitely NOT do.

This was one of my Greyhound rescues, Patch. Total sweetie. She washed out in training at the track because she was so fast, she'd run to the front and trip everybody else up trying to play. So, we got her when she was only a year old. Going to coursing meets though, she was in her element running x-country, and won nearly every match.

Some runners, during my running days.

(55 posts)I've had greyhounds most of my adult life. Absolutely adore the breed. Elegant but goofy dogs.
You're a very talented artist. Love your work.
I like the watercolor best. The sketches are good, though. I have tried drawing humans and I don't like the results so I work with trees and landscapes, patterned designs and illuminations.
The sorting through things is upon me as well, been moving and trying to lighten my load, maybe see if anything is marketable. I haven't opened those boxes yet but in a few days I will be at that point. I can hardly wait to see what I find in them.
Especially your sketches of animals!
