After watching Bezos & Musk play duelling fortunes over the right to succeed Ming the Merciless... followed by Musk's FULL unmasking, I'm wondering how we get our space program back...how we get regular Americans back into running and operating Aerospace companies again. Most of all... HOW did Democratic presidents Clinton, Obama, Biden not at least aim for a return moonshot that should have occured by 2019(or better yet for this timeline... 2017!). As it stands Trump, Vance, Musk will likely preside over the eventual Artemis mission... claim the buzz for it in time for the 60th anniversary in 2029...then Musk or Bezos scoops everything up...puts it in the garbage and announces that all our launch bases belong to them!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
