But this has antiques in the name. I would like to purchase an item, preferably somewhat small (not a stove), that was verifiably carried over the Oregon Trail. Where would I go to find such a thing??? TIA

2. Seems to me you would need to look for antiques at the end of the trail (Oregon). Look for small personal

items, like clothing, shoes, hand tools, cooking implements, etc. Lots of items are now in museums so check for local auctions and private estate sales. Ask if there is any province of the item making it across the Trail.
