...Charles always sounds edgy to me...the Duke serenely rises above it all, and always sounds perfect. Love 'em both, but sometimes I'm in the mood for one, sometimes the other. Same With Peter Ilyich and Ludwig von...

Late quartets are definitely edgy, first symphony not at all.
