3. Good guess, but no. Michigan.

He had an estimated 10-12, including a party boat in Charlevoix, Michigan, where I grew up. My grandad met him once, lol. Another fun fact, Ernest Hemingway vacationed there and was a good friend of my grandad's. I have a signed first edition of A Farewell to Arms that Hemingway gave to my grandad.
