I've never taken an Uber, but I may need to today. Will the driver wait for me to run into the pharmacy or will I have to get a second one to get home?

You can have the driver wait, but you will pay a fee based on how long the wait is.

Yes, but you need to see if they are okay to do it, and they will charge more

If it's a brief visit then it is probably worth it, but if you are going to be in the store for awhile then you may want to get a separate ride.
